I was privileged to study Interior Design at Mount Royal College in Calgary followed by studies in Fibre & Textile Design at Concordia University in Montreal. Soon after moving back to Calgary in 2004 painting quickly became my passion.
As a predominantly self-taught, working artist, my fervor for design is strengthened every time I observe a work that evokes my emotions or that I enjoy visually.
I have developed an interest in visual and tactile arts. Creating most designs with acrylic paint, I find that this media allows the addition of items such as sand, stone, plastic, aluminum and multiple types of fibres into my pieces. I love to create work that stimulates my viewers through sight and through touch.
I hope that you will feel the same way.
